And the first show will start only at 9 pm. This is the second time the film has moved. Earlier it was set for May 15.

The decision did not happen because of any problem with Bhooth Bangla. The real reason is Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar The Revenge. The film is a monster at the box office. It released on March 19 and has already crossed Rs 1300 crore worldwide. That is a huge number. No other film wants to clash with that kind of wave right now.
Producer Ekta Kapoor released a clear statement. She said after talking to distributors and exhibitors, everyone agreed on the shift. The people who run cinemas felt that Dhurandhar 2 is still going very strong. They want to give both films the proper space. Rushing Bhooth Bangla right now would hurt its own business.

The team of Bhooth Bangla is not worried. They are using this extra week to build more buzz. Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan are coming back together after 15 long years.
